Ive never frozen them uncooked but they freeze well as part of a bigger dish. They are an awesome food - my kids are just starting to like them :-)

I freeze them often.I will do a large recipe like a meditteranean dish in the crockpot then freeze a spare meal.I also cook a larger ammount and freeze in small ammounts to be zapped and quickly made into hummus etc.

Chickpeas
Does any know how well chickpeas freeze? Have cooked way too much Chicken, Merguez and Chickpea casserole and am wondering if I can freeze it.
