Thanks - I'll have a forage there soon - and by chance I found a place today in the Mt Roskill group of shops by the Foodtown on Mt Albert Rd - they didn't have fruit n' vegetables but everything else including fresh meat - and prices were very cheap

Can't guarantee they always have them in stock, but the Asian strip behind the Rialto in Newmarket has all of what your after.

Fresh noodles
Anyone know of Asian grocery stores in Auckland where fresh hokkien and udon style noodles are available? I haven't had much luck with smaller suburban stores as they often only sell the thinner varieties of noodle, or have only dried noodles. I'd love to know of a really great Asian food emporium where there are great noodles, and, ideally, great produce and groceries too...
