Amigos Latin Restaurant & Bar - Wellington
Hi there! I've been to this place a few times now and have completely loved the experience every time. The food is utterly wonderful, with a South American theme and a real home-made, not 'assembled' taste to it. It's the sort of place where the food is so delicious that as you're eating your meal you find yourself planning what you're going to choose next time you go there. Truly!
The staff have always been friendly when I've been and there's often something happening there - be it midweek drink specials (free margaritas!) BYO Fridays, or tango demonstrations on Saturday night. I feel like it's not as busy as it deserves to be and would love to see it gain some more traction as it's easily as good as, if not better than many of the other better-known inexpensive eateries round Wellington.
