AN INTRODUCTION TO CHEESEMAKING & LEARNING HOW TO MAKE MOZZARELLA
Katherine demonstrates how to make Mozzarella (using cow milk not the traditional buffalo) at home and provides the basic principles behind cheese-making.
Katherine Mowbray has been making cheese for 20 years and enjoys sharing her knowledge and love of cheese making through her popular courses around New Zealand. Katherine will have her book to purchase ‘Cutting the Curd’ which sets out the basic principles behind cheese-making and includes simple delicious recipes. Katherine’s courses are great for the beginner and those who have dabbled in the ‘art’ – it’s a good opportunity to see what equipment and ingredients you need, where to source it from and just how satisfying it is to make your own cheese.
