Naomi - I think you should do a quick cheap add in your local rag and start a dining club for like minded people it would be fun!

Hey All
I moved to Lower Hutt from Auckland 2 years ago and I still haven't managed to find some foodies to share some good meals with. I feel revolted making quality food for people who want to smother it in tomato sauce or who eat it in one gulp.
I also enjoy quality wine but again it is hard to find people who understand the importance of matching it to a meal or paying an extra $5 for something with flavour and not just sugar.
It sounds a little snobbish reading back over what I have said but mum bought me up on everything and quality which is what I appreciate now. Does anyone know of a club in the area or where I could meet some people? Wellington is fine too.
