BOTTLING FOR THE SUMMER HARVEST

Laura Malowaniec will be presenting her next seasonal course on Bottling your Surplus Summer Fruit/Vege in March and she will show us how to make Tomato Sauce, Marmelade, Apple Juice and Asian Plum Sauce. The Spring Harvest was a course I thoroughly enjoyed, Laura delivered an excellent course on how bottling/ preserving should be done by the book - she is an engineer not only at work but in the kitchen. It’s great to have a benchmark to work towards as she certainly provided us with all the technical info, health & safety aspects we needed along with inspiration to be creative and heaps of tips to make your bottling experiences more successful and enjoyable.

This is the second of 4 seasonal courses on offer – a great opportunity to learn those important preserving techniques and be prepared for the summer surplus. There’s nothing more rewarding than gifting someone a bottle of perfectly set jam with your own label on it.
